The unknown being sighs in disappointment at my disposition and begins to slowly edge closer to me. I think it believes I’m scared of it, so it’s treading light as not to spook me.

The dark shadow breaks through the heavy mist and comes into focus. For a moment, I can only stare in disbelief. My body is frozen in place. I can’t pull my gaze away from her.

Memories float through me like a movie. Snapshots of cherished moments. The locked jar releases just enough to help me understand who and what I’m seeing. I swallow hard when the recollection hits me.

“I think I’m having an outlandish dream,” I whisper, trying to find my voice.

“No shit.” the dark outline says with sarcasm dripping from its lips. “Same one?”

My gaze lifts and locks onto a pair of chocolate orbs, staring warmly at me.

“Oh God.” I exhale on a weak breath.

“I feel like we’ve had this conversation before,” the amused voice says.

The ghost kneels in front of me, enfolding my hands in one of its and uses the other to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. The apparition smiles and it makes me want to cry.

“I’m here to help you find your way back, Eve Collins.” It speaks in a low, lulling tone.

“I’m lost?” I question in a soft voice.

  “You are,” it confirms.

  I pause for a moment. “I don’t…I don’t think I’m meant to be here,” I say, mystified.

“You are meant to be,” the spirit replies. “Everything happened the way it was meant to.”

The words trigger something inside of me and for the first time in days, I feel. Emotion flows through my veins almost painfully. My heart and soul fill with a surge of grief and my eyes begin to sting with a rush of tears.

  “Aria?” I choke out.

  Acknowledgements

I say this after each book, but I truly mean it, a huge thank you to my husband, daughter, family, and friends. Without their love and support, none of this would be possible.

Kris Kendall we’ve been here before lady, but I honestly don’t know how I would do this without you. I’d probably just sit in a corner and rock all day while the voices took over and used too many adverbs and commas. Best. Editor. Ever! I love and adore you, lady.

The team at Rock Star Lit, Chas, Hang, and Jessica rock my world. Thank you for your ongoing love and support.

Bravebird Publishing has designed the covers for the entire series (Revelation excluded) and they always hit a home run. This one is no different. Thank you for visually telling this story.

As always, a special thank you to the beta readers: Sara Dustin, Maureen Switalski, Terri Thomas, Theresa Hernandez, Heather White, Kayla Clinton, and others, for your continued dedication toward this series and these characters.

What can I say Callan’s aprons have a mind of their own, so thank you for always allowing them to steal scenes. A big shout out to Kelli Winter, who won the opportunity to name a character in Revolution, Zyla the Goddess of Protection is forever in your debt. Huge hugs to Lola Montalvo, who won the opportunity to name a chapter in Revolution. Full Circle was perfection for this book.

To all the amazing bloggers who ALWAYS host my books with enthusiasm and love, there are not enough words to show my appreciation. Thank you all for being warm and accepting of this series. I truly can’t express my gratitude enough.

Randi’s Rebels, you all ROCK! I adore spending time with you daily. I love that you love these characters as I do. You’re all such a huge part of this series. Thanks for supporting, loving, and spreading the word about the series and just being fan-tabulous.

As always, my deepest gratitude to the readers, thank you for taking a chance on this series. I’m humbled that you’ve embraced it as you have.
